Water from dental units

Water from dental treatment units is subject to special hygiene requirements. The quality requirements to which the water from a dental unit is subject are established by the Commission for Hospital Hygiene and Infection Prevention (KRINKO) of the Robert-Koch-Institute (RKI).

The RKI recommendation “Infektionsprävention in der Zahlheilkunde - Anforderungen an die Hygiene” (Infection prevention in the dental profession – hygiene requirements) recommends determining the total bacterial count at least annually (as a colony count at 36°C) and testing for legionella. Water should also be free from germs of the genus Pseudomonas when treating immuno-suppressed patients.

We offer you the required regular microbiological testing for water from your dental treatment units.

We are happy to advise you in advance and prepare a free offer tailored to your specific needs.
